Well, maybe not. I had my first 6:00am morning in Vienna... We started out at our favorite Italian place, Il Sestante for Chianti and pizza, followed by Rioja wine and tequila shots (with orange and cinnamon) at Tin Tan, left for drinks at an Irish Pub, then swung by Roo's, an Australian bar and then of course we had to go back to Tin Tan, I mean, we did promise Luis... Jr. and Sr.! Ha! What a night! It ended with a little guitar hero, or some sort of game like that, I'm not sure which one of those WI or Nintendo or something..., but I was AWFUL at it! The next day we rounded off the tour with baking homemade cookies from the US of A and then Sushi and Sake... Ha! The whole night and following day was pretty hilarious, and the kind of thing I don't think I've done since college. Fun though! It snowed a TON that night too, the city is looking pretty awesome.
We had to go back to work today, sad. Well, it will be nice to be back in a routine I guess, but I really was loving just relaxing in Vienna. They moved my office over break, it was quite a disaster, I have a lot of work to do. I've already broken a huge shelf thing, I put too much weight on one side, but, in my defense it was a three part cabinet thing and they only put wall brackets on two sections... of course the one with no brackets is the one I chose to put old test materials in... now it's all rigged up with this funny t shaped random wood thing. I'm sure they'll fix it all up tomorrow...! It's supposed to snow a ton tomorrow, which would be great!! I wish it would snow tonight so we could have a snow day, but that is pretty much not going to happen.
There are a bunch of fun things coming up... I think we are going to a concert this weekend if there are still tickets available, Naschmarkt (I LOVE it there!!!), Buena Vista Social Club concert the 15th, German classes start the 18th, we may try to pull together a ski weekend, the ball February 6th and I think we are going to try to do this overnight Venice Carnivale thing and then my sister and brother in law come!!! Can't wait!
I just bought the Nike iPod thing, I used to have it years ago, but it died and I never got another one, but seemed like a good idea... we'll see. My friend and I just signed up for a series of races this winter, I guess you get to chose your distance the day of the race. Interesting!
